RACHA, Reproductive and Child Health Alliance, a local NGO primarily financed by USAID. RACHA’s vision is working to be a leading and dynamic Local NGO which advances the health of the Cambodian people through sustainable, relevant, and responsive broad-based health programs in line with Ministry of Health (MoH) policies and donors’ strategies. . It is currently seeking for a qualified Cambodian national for the following positions: |

| POSITION: | PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR (1 Position) |

| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
• Assist the Provincial MoH Technical Bureau and MCH Department to plan, manage and assess strengthening of maternal and child health activities in both the private and public sectors; • Work with partners to improve the analysis and use of routinely collected service data for decision making at community, facility, district and provincial levels; • Assist the development of community (commune/village) and private sector partnerships for addressing local maternal and child health issues; • Coordinate RACHA staff efforts to provide effective technical and organizational support to RCH/TB/HIV/AIDS local health staffs and communities; • Assist the implementation of surveys (e.g. mortality, facility, and field surveys), KAP studies, focus group discussions and other information collection strategies leading to strengthening of public/private MCH activities; • Provide continuous assessment of program achievements and weaknesses; • Manage administrative, logistic, transport and financial activities of the RACHA provincial office and provide supervision of other RACHA staff; • Documents program activities and prepare routine and special progress reports. |

| QUALIFICATIONS FACTORS: | |
• Health professional (Medical Doctor or senior Midwife, Medical Assistant, or its equivalent is preferred; • Ability to enjoy travel to rural communities; • Demonstrated ability to operate a computer (word processing and spread sheets); • Five years experience in a health field (with experience in MCH preferred); • Three years of managerial experience; • Demonstrate experience and success in working with international organizations, government officials and NGOs; • Native Khmer speaker and good knowledge of English; • Frequent contacts inside and outside the organization involving an exchange of reasonably complex operational, financial and technical information in both Khmer and English languages. |
