RACHA is a local NGO primarily funded by USAID to implement broad-based Community Maternal and Child Health program in Cambodia for FY 2009-2013. It is currently seeking a qualified Cambodian national to fill the following job vacancies: |

| POSITION: | HEALTH COMMUNICATION TEAM LEADER (1 Position) |

| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
• To provide leadership to the Health Communications (HC) team to implement IEC and Behavior Change activities directed toward increasing the supply demand and access to Maternal and Child Health (MCH), ID/HIV/AIDS prevention and Health promotion activities. • Provide overall leadership to the HC team, including supervising HC Technical Officers, HC Coordinators and HC Assistants; • Provide leadership to the design and implementation of strategic BCC activities to support RACHA’ s Community health promotion and Capacity-building, BS&QI, Safe Motherhood, Child Health, Infectious Diseases, Logistics Management Information System and STI/HIV/AIDS and water and sanitation/hygiene programs: • Provide leadership to all stages of in-house BCC material development, including needs assessment, design, pre-testing, production, distribution, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; • Involve in RACHA management to develop annual work plan, implementation strategic plan and budget plan design; • Facilitate training and provide on-the-job support to provincial MCH and provincial Health Promotion Unit staff in RACHA-focus province other partners to implement activities, training and follow-up; • Strengthen links with the National Maternal and Child Health Center (NMCHC), National Center for Health promotion and other relevant Ministry departments, NGO partners, private sector entities and other agencies to implement programmer activities; • Facilitate the design and implementation of assessments to monitor BCC activities and materials; • Participate and represent RACHA in local and national-level initiatives on BCC; • Organize and participate in additional RACHA monitoring efforts, as necessary, and prepare regular reports and presentation, as required; |

| QUALIFICATIONS FACTORS: | |
• A minimum of five years experience in implementing Behaviour Change Communications activities and IEC materials production; • Graduated or other advanced degree in a related profession; • At least 3 years in experience of program management and program analysis • Excellence awareness on national health policy and strategy, especially on health behavior communications; • Familiarity with word-processing and graphics computer programmes; • Ability to enjoy frequent travel to RACHA focus provinces; • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. • English language competency, both written and spoken. |
