RACHA is a local NGO primarily funded by USAID to implement broad-based Community Maternal and Child Health program in Cambodia for FY 2009-2013. It is currently seeking a qualified Cambodian national to fill the following job vacancies:

POSITION: ASSISTANT PROVINCIAL COORDINATOR (2 Positions)
CONTRACT TYPE: FIXED TERM
DUTY STATION: SRE AMBEL OD AND SMACH MEANCHEY OD, KOH KONG PROVINCE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides technical assistance and support the Ministry of Health; improve linkage between public health facility and community;

• Increased service coverage;

• Quality improvement of MCH/ID/HIV/AIDS service and management activities;

• Staff technical and management skill up-grading;

• Community and private sector interventions for improving village health status;

• Health Information System strengthening, operational research and program monitoring/evaluation; and logistic systems development;

• Encourage joint effort with government administrative structures, relevant line ministries (e.g. Ministry of Women Affaires and Veteran, Ministry of Rural Development), NGO partners, private sector entities, agencies/associations, and community to improve MCH activities;

QUALIFICATIONS FACTORS:

• A health professional: Medical doctor, Medical Assistant;

• Minimum three years experiences in managing and reproductive and child health programs;

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills;

• Demonstrated experience and success in working with international organizations, government officials and NGOs;

• Fluency in English and Khmer, both written and spoken;

• Ability to use computer software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
