RACHA is a local NGO primarily funded by USAID to implement broad-based community Maternal and Child Health program in Cambodia for FY 2009-2013. It is currently seeking qualified Cambodian national for the positions of Child Health Assistant Team Leader to be based in Phnom Penh. |

| POSITION: | CHILD HEALTH ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER (1 Position) |

| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: | |
• Assist CH Team Leader (CHTL) in coordination with the MoH to planning and implementing the activities related to child survival; • Assist CH TL to provide TA and supervision to provincial CH staff in implementing the field work; • Assist MoH in supervising the implementation of field work (Health facility and community level); • Work with MoH training team to support training and supervision to health staff such as IMCI, C-IMCI, MPA etc; • Assist CH Team Leader in coordination with the National Nutrition Program to planning and implementing the activities related to Nutrition such as IDA, IDD, VAC, Food Fortification etc; • Provide feedback/field trip report to CHTL/ PC on the progress of activities; • Coordinate RACHA’s activities with other NGOs, UN Agencies working in the focus OD who are also supporting child health activities; • Draw on RACHA’s other child health activities to incorporate them into IMCI package; • Assist in preparing progress reports and share information with RACHA senior staff. |

| QUALIFICATIONS FACTORS: | |
• Advanced Medical background (MD or MA or its equivalent is preferred); • At least 3 years of prior work experience in planning and implementation of child health activities and clinical practices; • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work with government officials and IO/NGO staff; • Ability to travel to provinces, including rural communities and remote areas; • Computer literacy - word-processing, spread sheet software; • Fluency in English and Khmer, both written and spoken. |
