Improving Quality of Care Kratie Provincial Hospital  In January 2000, HealthNet International (HNI) took over a project supporting public health services in Kratie Province. One of the main aims of the project was to improve public health facilities by developing high quality care, with a focus on the provincial hospital in Kratie town. The main strategies used were the introduction of a co-financing scheme using patient fees and donor contribution to supplement staff salaries and concomitant technical assistance to improve quality of care directly.
