Mary Dunbar is a nurse and midwife with a MSc Econ degree in Social Development, Planning and Management.
Mary has worked in relief and development in South East Asia since 1980; managing maternal child health and nutrition programs with various agencies including: Concern Worldwide, Medicin San Frontiers, Save The Children, International Federation of the Red Cross, WHO, UNICEF, PATH and the Academy for Educational Development. Mary has contributed to several publications on micronutrient research, development of training curricula and behavior change communication strategies. She has also been involved in numerous health policy and guidelines development processes and advocacy and research projects.
Mary's current position is World Vision East Asia Region Maternal Child Health and Nutrition Specialist, responsible for providing technical support to program staff in Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Cambodia and Thailand. She has held this position since January 2010. She serves as member of Board of Directors.
