A beneficiary of RACHA's programming: a small business owner in Pursat Province
Health and poverty are inherently linked; and the poorest people in Cambodia often have the worst access to health care. Cognizant of these socioeconomic issues, RACHA provides methods for communities to develop their own resources, ensuring that individuals can be financially self-sustaining while still receiving access to quality health care. RACHA engages and empowers individuals to develop and initiate small businesses, such as fishponds, small shops, and community gardens, to establish an environment of personal accountability and ownership.
