Summary: The Reproductive And Child Health Alliance (RACHA) has been implementing the “Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning for Innovative Approaches in Integrating NCDIs Screening & Prevention into Integrated Community Outreach of C19, Routine Vaccination, & Other Primary Healthcare Services in Urban Settings” (MELIA-NCDs) Project funded by UNICEF since Jun 2023 in Phnom Penh municipality. RACHA will collect data for its study named “Urban Poor health seeking behavior for Non-Communicable Diseases in three ODs in Phnom Penh”.
The data collectors will work under the supervision of the M&E Team and Field officer, acting as field supervisors during the data collection period in July-August 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of data collector:
- Attend one day training prior to field activity,
- Interview ID-poor card holder to collect clear information as requested in the questionnaire,
- Fill in the questionnaire correctly and legibly,
- Verify questionnaires to ensure all relevant questions are asked,
- Re-interview or confirm with respondent as requested by Field Supervisor,
- Attend daily feedback meetings with the team,
- Provide feedback on any issues and make recommendations as needed
Qualifications:
§ At least 4th year of university or post graduate is preferred,
§ Experience working or studying in the health area is preferred but not essential,
§ Knowledge of Non-Communicable Diseases is preferred,
§ Experience in conducting interviews with people in the community,
§ Friendly, confident personality and good inter-personal skills,
§ Experience working as a team member,
§ Be able to travel by motorbike to remote areas.
Language: Khmer and English.
